The Quesnel Pickleball Club continues to grow.
Now a club of over 100, their courts at West Fraser Timber Park now boast storage to help keep equipment safe and on-site.
The shed was made possible by funding from the Quesnel Community Foundation.
Wendy Forsythe and Jill Walker put together the grant application for the club.
“Our group is growing,” Forsythe said. “We have an AED, so we wanted a safe place to house it as well as a first aid kit.”
The shed was finished in the middle of July.
The Quesnel club has grown from a few members to nearly 100.
“We’d like to have a space that feels a bit like a clubhouse,” Forsythe said.
The Quesnel Pickleball Club will be hosting a clinic on Sept. 12-13 and a tournament on Sept. 19.
