Fans who have been missing Quesnel Kangaroos hockey over the last year will have a chance to watch some bonus hockey on Wednesday, Dec. 15 and Thursday, Dec. 16.
The local team will be hosting the Dawson Creek Canucks for a pair of games at the West Fraser Centre. The Dec. 15 game will start at 7:30 p.m. and the Dec. 16 game will start at 8 p.m.
The Canucks normally play in the North Peace Hockey League, but their home league is not playing this season. The Canucks are the reigning provincial Senior AA champions, winning the Coy Cup in 2019, the last year the tournament was played.
The Kangaroos will be continuing their Central Interior Hockey League regular season when they host the Williams Lake Stampeders for their final game of 2020 on Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
The Kangaroos and Stampeders have split the first two games they’ve played against each other, both in Williams Lake.
