The recent snow fall is creating ideal conditions for winter activities and the Hallis Lake landscape is the perfect place to experience this winter wonderland.

The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is hosting an Open House at the Hallis Lake Lodge, starting at 10 a.m. Sunday Jan. 11.

Skiers of all ages and capabilities are invited to join in on the fun for a free ski day, which includes lessons, tours, rentals and a ski pass for the day.

So, whether you are looking to try cross-country skiing for the first time, trying to get back into the sport or looking at ways to achieve your new years resolution of getting in shape, no matter your objective come out and join the excitement.
