The Quesnel Kangaroos ran into a brick wall in Terrace in game 2 of the Central Interior Hockey League (CIHL) finals.
River Kings goaltender Tyran Hunter held the Roos to only a single goal as the home team won 3-1 and tied the three-game series at 1-1.
The final game of the series will go tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. in Terrace. The games in the final have been broadcasted on the BCSN Facebook page.
Both teams looked to set a physical tone, after game one of the final in Quesnel ended with a near line-brawl.

Chances were hard to come by for both teams in the first period, as neither team was able to capitalize on their minimal chances.
Terrace would break through in the second period, as the teams traded chances. Hunter was especially strong scrambling and managing to keep Quesnel off the scoresheet.
Chapen Leblond would break the scoreless streak for Terrace, working a nice give and go at the blue line and beating Kangaroos goalie Ryan Manderson short side.
Minutes later, Terrace would double their lead off the stick of Colin Bell, who had 12 points in six games heading into game 2.
The Roos managed to battle back in the third period, and after killing an extended powerplay, Jordan Draper was able to break Hunter’s shutout bid.
Eli Jarvis was able to find Draper streaking through the slot, and he one-timed the puck past Hunter.
Quesnel couldn’t find the tying goal, and Terrace’s leading scorer would ice the game, as Connor Onstein received a turnover in the offensive zone and made no mistake in tight.
The winner of the CIHL final will host the Dawson Creek Canucks in the Coy Cup.
