Super leaguers pursue the perfect curl on the sheets last Wednesday.

As kids were on the streets seeking candy from strangers in the cold, the super league was inside, but not any warmer, seeking to keep streaks alive and hit that button.

Billy Barker faced off against Karen's Deli in a game that didn't see much up on the score board.

It was a real yawn fest on sheet 'A', as Billy 'manwiched' the Deli for an unimpressive win. Despite their record, Karin’s still have the freshest meat in

town!

CDC and DLE traded points on sheet 'B'.

The mighty DLE tractor sputtered to start, then surged, but it wasn't enough to pull past the grey and hair challenged kids, thus putting an end to DLE's three game winning streak.

On sheet 'C' Frank's Supermarket washed away the Investors Group.

Investors, still reeling from Hurricane Sandy closing the New York Stock Exchange, were barely treading water before Frank’s triple-scored them in the last end. All attending fans were given a free Apex fishing lure!

A&W fought to continue their streak against Cariboo Pulp on sheet 'D.'

They won, and then there was one! A&W remains the only undefeated team in the super league with an 8-4 win over Cariboo Pulp.

A&W built up a 6-1 lead after the fourth end, but Cariboo clawed back to make it 6-4 before A&W put it away with two more in the seventh.

Willis Harper and Jar Transport toiled for the win on sheet 'F'.

Willis Harper was up '9' going into the last end and were feeling pressure from their sponsors Marv and Bruce and had to make a triple take out for another victory. The home owners still have a home in the super league.

The super action continues tonight at the curling rink.
