Andy Cameron, Head Coach of the UNBC Women’s Soccer Team, was in town last weekend, along with UNBC player Tanya Grob, originally from Quesnel, to help train young soccer players in their off season.
Quesnel coaches Iain Brown and Kam Dosanjh also attended the session.
Twenty girls and eleven boys took advantage of having the visiting coach in town. About 60 per cent of attendees were from Quesnel, with the balance coming from Williams Lake and 100 Mile House.
Each group had three hours of instruction plus time to inquire about university sports with Cameron.
