Forestry workers were recently at the Quesnel Golf Course swinging for a good cause after a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pete Ketcham Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, June 25, with 120 West Fraser employees taking part.
“It is an annual tournament; however it was not held in 2020 or 2021, so we were excited to see it resume again in 2022,” said West Fraser corporate spokesperson Joyce Wagenaar.
Employees raised $3,200 for the Quesnel Community Foundation through prize draws and raffles.
Pete Ketcham was one of the three Ketcham brothers who together founded West Fraser over 65 years ago.
