One of Canada’s top aerobatics competitors, Jerzy Strzyz, is coming to Quesnel this summer for SkyFest!
With more than 16,000 hours logged on a wide variety of aircraft, Strzyz has represented Canada at the World Aerobatic Championship in both Advanced and Unlimited categories. In fact, he has been a Canadian Unlimited National Champion for an unprecedented 14 years!
Strzyz flies the Sukhoi Su-26, which was created for the sole purpose of winning aerobatic competitions at the highest levels — and win it does!
To date, Su-26 pilots have won more than 150 medals in World and European Championships — more than any other plane in the history of aerobatic flight!
At SkyFest 2019, you’ll have a chance to see some truly world-class and jaw-dropping aerobatics in person. Strzyz’s dynamic and exciting act features gyroscopic tumbles, torque rolls, tail slides and other high-energy aerobatic manoeuvres, including his signature move: the Cobra!
SkyFest returns to Quesnel Aug. 2, 3 and 4 at the Quesnel Regional Airport!
